ReIntegrating The Ex-Offender
Although this site is not in traditional format, I trust it will still be informative and inspiring. Due to the unique nature of our New Program, Project Return, I felt it only necessary to be as informative as possible. I have spent 5 years of my career as an Law Enforcement Officer under the authority of the State of Indiana Department of Corrections. I've been in maximum, medium, and minimum security facilities. I've even experienced community corrections, paroles, and the electronic monitoring system. After experiencing much failure with the false and misleading ideal for rehabilitation within corrections, I was forced to do one thing and that was to seek and help others return back to society. These are reason enough to concern yourself with a program designed to assist these people with rebuilding their life. While supporting families of the current offender or ex-offender with counseling through their crises, we will be assisting with re-establishing, strengthening, and Maintaining family ties, which will aid in the ex-offenders transition? While at the same time redirecting the ex-offender away from the negativity they have known, while incarcerated, and establishing for them positive and attainable goals, instilling a work ethic to enable them to take a positive and acceptable role in our great society. This is the reason for such a program as Project Return: 1) Our Purpose is to provide the ex-offender with the means of earning an honest living and being a productive citizen. 2) The Objective of this program is to assist those who are released from prison with counseling and resources necessary for reintegrating back into society. 3) Our Goal is to teach the ex-offender, by example, how to maintain Christian values in a free society, to prevent a return to prison.

Contributor's Note
With the increasing amount of crime in this country and the enormous amount of people being released from prisons on a yearly basis in this country alone, it behooves us to consider, the vision contained on this site. Instead of complaining or being critical about ex-offenders, we can now do something to make a difference.
